How Does Blemiderm Work?

Before starting the Blemiderm treatment, your skin is carefully prepped to ensure optimal results. The process begins with a deep cleanse, followed by the application of the Blemiderm mask to problematic areas. The m.acne complex™ rapidly works to deep cleanse pores of impurities and oil. After an appropriate amount of time, your therapist will spray a neutralising solution to return your skin to its natural pH, soothing and calming it. Following the peel removal, a soothing facial mask is applied to promote healing. Your skin may be pink to red for a few hours post-treatment,, and your therapist will advise on aftercare.

Pre Treatment

Your therapist will recommend products to prep your skin two weeks prior to treatment.
Inform us of any past or present medications, as some may interfere with treatment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure for four weeks prior, as we cannot treat sunburnt skin.
Avoid exfoliating clinic treatments and prescription retinol for four weeks prior.
Avoid cosmeceutical retinol for five days prior.

Post Treatment

Mild redness may occur for a few days post-treatment, with a sensation similar to sunburn.
Some clients may notice light flaking and dryness on the third day as the skin heals.
Sensitivity may last several days. Avoid sun exposure, heat-induced activities, and active ingredients (AHA & BHA) during this time.
